Sustainable development plan
For years our company has been engaged in developing technical solutions in the production of finished products in the plastics sector, so that they too may be as sustainable as possible and contribute to the logic of the circular economy. Solutions that make it possible to contain several aspects, including: worker safety, reduction of natural resources in production processes, and limitation of waste generation.
All of this has allowed us continuous growth, proof of everyone’s commitment to ensuring our business continuity for the future.
Through the logic encompassed in ESG topics, increasingly aligned with corporate strategy, we intend to consolidate our commitment over time, enhancing synergies and maintaining the innovative approach that has always distinguished us.
We are confident in all that we are developing to face today’s and tomorrow’s challenges, with the aim of preserving our territory, our people, and future generations.
The environment
Industrie Polieco-MPB recognizes the essential value of protecting and safeguarding the environment and actively commits to integrating environmental aspects into all its activities, constantly monitoring its environmental performance in order to undertake specific initiatives to gradually reduce the gap compared to industry best practices.
ENERGY
We have identified specific initiatives to better manage our organization’s energy consumption. As a first step, we decided to implement the current measurement system of our energy consumption by moving to a monitoring model aimed at analysing specific energy indicators to understand priority intervention areas.
PHOTOVOLTAIC
The total surface of the roofs of our Italian plants has been used for the installation of photovoltaic energy production systems: the first investment dates back to 2011 with the construction of 7 systems. The latest installation completed in 2024 has enabled us to cover approximately 7% of our annual energy requirements. In this way, we are able to avoid the release of about 1150 tonnes per year of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
WATER
Responsible management of water resources is a priority challenge in the current context, characterized by climate change and growing awareness of the importance of water for life and the ecosystem. Industrie Polieco-MPB is committed to monitoring water consumption resulting from its activities in order to define a strategy for reducing water requirements.
WASTE AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Accurate monitoring of these issues is fundamental as it makes it possible to better understand the underlying dynamics and identify critical areas that require immediate intervention.
Moreover, monitoring waste quantities provides crucial data to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and strategies aimed at promoting a circular economy and reducing overall environmental impact.
SCOPE 1 AND 2 EMISSIONS
Each year, we carry out an Organizational Carbon Footprint study, which allows us to quantify, with reference to the year 2024, the direct and indirect emissions of our company, as reported below.

MODEL 231
The 231 Model of Industrie Polieco-MPB is a structured and organic system of principles, internal rules, operational procedures, and control activities, aimed at ensuring diligent and transparent conduct of the company’s activities.
CODE OF ETHICS
The Code of Ethics aims to promote and convey the company’s vision and mission, highlighting a system of ethical values and behavioural rules that encourage a commitment to maintaining morally correct conduct.
WHISTLEBLOWING
To protect corporate integrity and in compliance with Legislative Decree 24/2023, the company has adopted a system that allows for the reporting of unlawful conduct, behaviours in violation of the 231 Model, and violations of EU and/or national law.
INFORMATION SECURITY AND PERSONAL DATA
Industrie Polieco-MPB implements adequate and effective technical and organizational measures to ensure, and be able to demonstrate, that personal data processing operations are carried out in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

WHP PROGRAM
(Workplace Health Promotion)
The program aims to educate employees on the importance of healthy habits to prevent chronic diseases, focusing on topics such as quitting smoking and addictive behaviours, promoting physical activity, and proper nutrition.
OPENING TO THE TERRITORY
Another initiative is the involvement of local schools with the intention of sharing with students our commitment to promoting a circular economy and recycling of plastics.

Through donation and financial support initiatives, our organization has supported associations, entities, and initiatives operating both locally and nationally to address social, environmental, and economic challenges.
