Our impact modifiers are made of highly modified PE, rubbers, or plastomers. Their chemical structure allows them to be finely dispersed within the compound in which they are used.
This enables optimization of formulation costs and the mechanical properties of the final product, particularly for applications requiring enhanced performance at temperatures tens of degrees below zero.
Engineered Compounds and Impact Modifiers for PA
For all compounds intended for special applications, MPB also offers grades based on highly modified polymers, rubbers, and elastomers.
Specifically for polyamides (PA6 and PA66), engineering polymers used in the automotive and electrical sectors, as well as for various technical applications, low-temperature impact brittleness is a critical property to address.
For this sector, MPB provides multiple grades, tailored to the specific characteristics of the compound and its final application.
